Pastor Vanessa dedicated her life to Christ in 1980. She believes in the power of prayer and discipleship through teaching and application of the inspired Word of God. These are essential tools in battling the forces of evil and building an enduring faith that enables us to remain in unity and fellowship with one another and with our Lord. Her greatest desire is to see individuals come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and maturing to fulfill their divine purpose to become effective ambassadors for the Kingdom of God in the earth.
Pastor Vanessa has been a minister at Shekinah Tabernacle since 2015. She currently oversees the Sunday School Department and also serves on both the Board of Elders and Board of Directors. She was appointed to the office of Pastor at Shekinah in 2024.
She is a graduate of the Marilynn J. Davis International School of the Bible. She holds a BA in Psychology, an MS in Counseling Psychology, and a MS in Organizational Leadership from Chatham University, Pittsburgh, Pa. She is the proud mother of Chivonne and Joshua, and 2 beautiful granddaughters Kennedi and Amina.
